J Dennis Berman

Dennis was one of my best friends when I was younger. He was the older kid I looked up to. He died in a car accident when I was a junior in high school. He was a natural. Anytime it snowed we use to take the trucks off our skateboards and use them as snowboards. His first and only snowboard was this Barfoot. This is at Mt. Pleasant Golf course, probably around 1988-89. I had a dream about him last night and thought I should share some old pictures. He use to be an incredible vert skater too. I still miss him. I wonder if he could have known what an inspiration he has been to me still to this day. Who knows if he would have escaped the demons of Baltimore, I like to think he would have. His life wasn't easy, he had more struggles than anyone I knew growing up. I miss you bro!
