Synopsis:...A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 9 AM this morning through 8 AM Saturday morning... A Pacific system will move across the region tonight into Saturday. A strong cold front associated with this system will move across the Cottonwood and Provo Canyons tonight. Very cold temperatures will follow the front along with a period of moderate to heavy snow. As the system begins to pull away from the area Saturday morning...snow will begin to diminish. Storm total snow accumulations are expected to range from 8 to 12 inches with locally higher amounts.
