Yeah, its called "stack the tracks" to conserve powder. God forbid you have some creativity and make an interesting line or turns down the mountain! Powder 8 skiing is the worst skiing of all, even worse than bumps! Its a shame to see powder skied in this fashion. When I lived in Crested Butte I got on the telemarkers skiers shit list cause I would rip big turns in the backcountry bowls that they use to stack the tracks in. I was not doing my part to conserve the powder. Live a little and rip it!
